… A silhouette star trail at Lee’s Ferry in Arizona. Lee’s Ferry is a historic site, but to be totally honest, I didn’t read anything about it there. I was in it for the views, to play in the river a bit and find a campsite with a view of the sky. Lee’s Ferry is in a pretty deep canyon where the Colorado River comes down from Glen Canyon and Lake Powell to meet up with the Paria River. It is also where the crazy long Buckskin Gulch ends. Many Grand Canyon river rafting trips begin at Lee’s Ferry.
